Looking at the Lineups

Last week we analyzed the Leg 1 Starting XIs for DC United and Montreal in their Champions League fixtures. Here's a look at how they lined up for Leg 2.

MONTREAL

Notes: Montreal trotted out the identical Starting XI that they used in Leg 1. They brought the same batch of substitutes with them as well: Hassoun Camara, Maxim Tissot, Calum Mallace, Patrice Bernier, Cameron Porter, Jack McInerney and Kristian Nicht... Subtitutes Cameron Porter and Calum Mallace combined for Montreal's stoppage time equalizer... Marco Donadel and Dominic Oduro were subbed out in both Legs while the third substitute was used on Victor Cabrera in Leg 1 and Nigel Reo-Coker in Leg 2.

DC United

Notes: Bill Hamid returned to the DC starting lineup replacing Andrew Dykstra for Leg 2 while Chris Korb replaced Taylor Kemp and Jairo Arrieta replaced Chris Rolfe... Arrieta appeared in Leg 1 as a substitute... Michael Farfan appeared as a substitute in both legs... Conor Doyle and Chris Rolfe both came off the DC bench in the second half... Goals were scored by Arrieta and Espindola... Backup Keeper Travis Worra and midfielder Jared Jeffrey were replaced on the active roster by Hamid and Doyle for the second leg.
