MLS Week 4 Predictions

Saturday

San Jose Earthquakes 2 New England Revolution 1 - New England has to figure out a way to score at some point, don't they?

Montreal Impact 1 Orlando City SC 0 - Orlando's going to have trouble fielding a team due to international duty and their offense has been ineffective thus far this season. Montreal just needs to get through this match without suffering any more injuries.

New York City FC 2 Sporting Kansas City 1 - Can Sporting's rag-tag backline stop David Villa? I have my doubts.

DC United 1 LA Galaxy 0 - With Keane and Zardes both on international duty, it will be tough for LA to score goals against Bill Hamid. Well, unless Edson Buddle turns back the clock.

Columbus Crew 2 New York Red Bulls 2 - I expect this to be a wild one with both sides lighting up the scoreboard. If last weekend was any indication, Sacha Kljestan is going to be a big factor this season.

Vancouver Whitecaps 1 Portland Timbers 1 - It would appear that Portland's trying to break the Fire's record for draws set last year.

Colorado Rapids 0 Houston Dynamo 0 - So far Colorado's defense is keeping them in matches. With Houston not exactly an offensive juggernaut, I see this trend continuing.

FC Dallas 3 Seattle Sounders 1 - This is a HUGE match, but with Clint Dempsey out, the edge has to go to the hottest team in the league.

Sunday

Chicago Fire 0 Philadelphia Union 0 - This is the game of the week? Ugh. Chicago should get their first point of the season.

Toronto FC 3 Real Salt Lake 0 - No Jozy? No Bradley? No Rimando? I smell a Giovinco hat trick. Just playing a hunch.

Last Week: 3-5 (Dallas, Vancouver, San Jose)

Overall: 5-11
