U.S. Women Win Again

The U.S. Women were at it again scoring goals in bunches in a 7-2 rout of Costa Rica last night. The U.S. scored 6 goals in the opening 31 minutes and outshot the Costa Ricans 28-4 on the night. Heather O'Reilly and Carli Lloyd led the attack with two goals apiece while both Abby Wambach and Alex Morgan chipped in goals as well. The U.S. women have outscored their opponents 20-4 over their last three games and have won seven straight overall. Next up for the American women are matches with Australia on September 17th in Detroit and on September 20th in Birmingham, Alabama.
