Weekly Top Tens & Power Rankings

THE SOCCERSMITH'S MLS POWER RANKINGS

- Sporting Kansas City (7-3-6) - Krisztián Németh keeps on scoring, and Sporting will keep both Matt Besler and Benny Feilhaber during the Gold Cup. Last Week: 2
- DC United (10-5-5) - Bill Hamid picked up a pair of shutouts this week. Look out if these guys ever figure out how to start consistently scoring goals. Last Week: 4
- Portland Timbers (8-6-4) - Bad loss against LA followed by an emotional win over the Sounders. Darlington Nagbe gave us a glimpse, is there more where that came from? Last Week: 1
- Toronto FC (7-6-2) - The stars came out against Montreal, but followed that up with a disappointing draw against DC United. Last Week: 5
- Vancouver Whitecaps (10-6-2) - Octavio Rivero scored for the first time in a while as the Caps got to 10 wins on the season. Last Week: 6
- Seattle Sounders (9-7-2) - No Dempsey and no Martins results in back-to-back losses. With three rookies getting minutes, the Sounders are still getting something out of their stars being out. Last Week: 3
- San Jose Earthquakes (7-5-4) - Matías Pérez García is finally starting to deliver and it's no coincidence that the results are coming along with it. Last Week: 9
- LA Galaxy (7-6-7) - Showed how dangerous they are in their win against Portland, but immediately imploded against San Jose. Not to worry though, Steven Gerrard is around the corner. Last Week: 7
- New York Red Bulls (6-5-5) - The Red Bulls are back. Back-to-back wins this week. Anatole Abang has provided a major jolt to the starting lineup. Last Week: 11
- Orlando City SC (6-6-5) - It's the Kaká and Cyle Larin show in Orlando City, but it's Tally Hall's insertion into the starting XI that really appears to have turned things around.  Last Week: 12
- FC Dallas (7-5-5) - Finally got a win and it was in a rivalry game against Houston. Can they build on this? Last Week: 14
- Columbus Crew (5-6-6) - Ethan Finlay, Kei Kamara and Federico Higuaín are quite the trio, but the Crew need to start turning the pretty attacking into more wins. Last Week: 15
- New England Revolution (6-7-6) - The Revs had a big slump like this last season too. You have to think with weapons like Teal Bunbury, Juan Agudelo, Lee Nguyen and Charlie Davies, that it won't last. That said, they need Jermaine Jones back and healthy. Last Week: 8
- Montreal Impact (5-6-3) - Inconsistency. Last Week: 10
- Houston Dynamo (5-7-5) - Disappointing showing against FC Dallas. Hopefully Rob Lovejoy's injury isn't serious. Last Week: 13
- Real Salt Lake (5-6-7) - Three red cards this week to go along with no wins. But if you didn't set their opening goal against the Crew, you're missing out. Last Week: 17
- Philadelphia Union (5-10-4) - Are the Union getting better? A stunning upset win against the Sounders and a point against the Impact. Still, they're the only team in the league with ten losses. Last Week: 20
- New York City SC (4-8-5) - Saw a nice little run snapped by another loss to their rivals. Thomas McNamara seems to be a nice find though. Last Week: 16
- Chicago Fire (4-9-2) - At least Mike Magee is back on the field... Last Week: 19
- Colorado Rapids (2-6-9) - I really thought Kevin Doyle would make more of an impact. Last Week: 18
