Not a bad day for Americans in Europe today as Aron Johannsson came off the bench for AZ Alkmaar (Netherlands) to score against Rubio Rubin's FC Utrecht in a 6-2 loss, and Andrew Wooten scored his 8th goal of the year for SV Sandhausen (Germany) as they upended Bobby Wood's former club, 1860 Munich, 3-2. Johannsson Scores Again... Hurt Again...
U.S. National Team striker Aron Johannsson scored again yesterday delivering AZ a 1-0 victory over Ajax Amsterdam. Unfortunately his availability this weekend is now in doubt due to a bum ankle. Johannsson has four goals on the year and has scored in back-to-back appearances.

Johannsson Scores for AZ Alkmaar
Aron Johannsson scored his third goal of the season and first of 2015 as he flicked in the opening goal against SC Heracles Almelo yesterday. The 24 year old striker scored 26 goals across all competitions for his Dutch club a year ago.
