U.S. U-20s advance to Knockout Round

The immediate crisis has been averted. The U.S. took the full three points from Trinidad and Tobago yesterday with a 1-0 win thanks to a late goal by LA Galaxy forward Bradford Jamieson IV. With the win, the U.S. clinches second place in Group A, and now waits to find out which opponent will be standing in their way to a berth to the U-20 World Cup. Panama won the group going a perfect 5-0 without yielding a goal in group play while Guatemala took third. Group B wraps up play today.
