USWNT Routs Costa Rica to open Victory Tour

In their first match since their World Cup Finals victory over Japan, the U.S. Women picked up right where they left off routing Costa Rica 8-0 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Christen Press led the offense with a hat trick and Heather O'Reilly added two goals of her own. Ashlyn Harris and Hope Solo handled the goal keeping duties, while 40-year old captain Christie Rampone went the full 90 minutes in her 309th career U.S. National Team appearance. Next up for the U.S. is another match with Costa Rica on Wednesday in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
