The US clinched a spot in the Gold Cup Quarterfinals thanks to a 1-0 win over Haiti. Clint Dempsey scored his third goal of the tournament on an assist from Gyasi Zardes as the US managed a victory despite getting outshot by Haiti 21-6. Brad Guzan made four saves to earn the shutout. In Group A's other match, Honduras got a goal from former DC United midfielder Andy Najar (Anderlecht) as they rallied for a 1-1 draw with Panama. Group B is back in action tomorrow with Jamaica taking on Canada and Costa Rica facing off against El Salvador.
