Friday
FC Dallas 2 Philadelphia 1 - With Blas Perez and Fabian Castillo in form, FC Dallas is looking like the best team in the league right now. Philadelphia has picked up points in each of its first two matches, but this will be a tough one for them.
Saturday
New England 3 Montreal 1 - New England's too good a team to lose three straight matches to start the season, right? Plus Montreal has a Champions League match on Wednesday so they're going to be gassed.
New York City FC 1 Colorado 0 - Colorado turned in a shutout in Week 1, but they didn't face David Villa that week.
Vancouver 1 Orlando City 0 - Orlando's defense has been solid through two matches, but I have questions about their offense. Where's Bryan Rochez??
Portland 2 Sporting KC 1 - Portland has been an early season surprise (to me at least) shutting down Real Salt Lake, and then just missing three points against LA. Sporting, meanwhile, has been in a tailspin since midseason last year. They'll pull out of it, but not this week.
LA Galaxy 1 Houston 0 - Tyler Deric is off to a fine start this season (minus the own goal versus Orlando), but LA just has too many weapons.
Sunday
DC United 1 New York Red Bulls 0 - Hard to bet against Bill Hamid and company when the Red Bulls haven't shown they can adjust to not having Thierry Henry.
San Jose 3 Chicago 0 - I'm a believer in the Quakes. And Chicago has arguably been the worst team in the league through two weeks. They'll get better, but it will take time for the team to gel with all the new pieces.
Last Week: 2-6 (Dallas, Vancouver)
Overall: 2-6
