Weekly Top Tens & Power Rankings

THE SOCCERSMITH'S MLS POWER RANKINGS

1 - LA Galaxy (1-0-1) - Alan Gordon's stoppage time equalizer spared them a defeat against the Timbers, but until they lose they'll hang onto this spot. Last Week: 1
2 - FC Dallas (2-0-0) - Blas Pérez celebrated his 34th birthday with a brace against Sporting Kansas City and Dallas is the only club to win its first two matches. Last Week: 4
3 - Toronto FC (1-1-0) - Hard to punish them for losing to Columbus after a questionable red card sent them down to ten men with the score tied at 0. Last Week: 2
4 - DC United (1-0-0) - Idle this week, United is now one of only two teams without a loss or a draw. Last Week: 5
5- Seattle Sounders (1-1-0) - Dempsey and Martins scored for the second straight week, but the defense struggled against Wondo and company. Last Week: 3
6 - Columbus Crew (1-1-0) - The Crew did what good teams do, taking advantage of their man advantage against a good Toronto team and picked up their first win of the season. Last Week: 13
7 - Real Salt Lake (0-0-2) - Not often that Real Salt Lake is going to score three goals with Nick Rimando in net and not walk away with three points. Last Week: 6
8 - Vancouver Whitecaps (1-1-0) - Two goals in two matches for Octavio Rivero and last year's leader in shutouts, David Ousted, was back on his game this week. Last Week: 9
9 - Portland Timbers (0-0-2) - Fanendo Adi and Darlington Nagbe looked poised to carry the load until the cavalry returns from the injured reserve. Bad marking on a corner in stoppage time kept them from getting three big points against LA. Last Week: 7
10 - San Jose Earthquakes (1-1-0) - Wondo did what Wondo does, but now he's got help in Innocent Emeghara. Last Week: 12

Out: New England: Lost 2-0 to NYCFC; Sporting KC: Lost 3-1 to FC Dallas
