MLS Weekly Predictions - Week 14

Wednesday

DC United 0 Chicago Fire 0 - Two struggling offenses will do battle. Don't expect a lot of scoring unless Kennedy Igboananike's performance this weekend was his coming out party.

Vancouver Whitecaps 3 Montreal Impact 0 - The Caps will look to make a statement in a preview of the Canadian Championship.

Columbus Crew 3 Philadelphia Union 0 - Do you think Kei Kamara is going to slow down against Philadelphia? I don't.

Friday

New York Red Bulls 2 Houston Dynamo 1 - The Red Bulls defense needs to slow down the Killer Bs (Will Bruin and Giles Barnes) if the hope to come away with three points.

Saturday

Toronto FC 2 DC United 0 - Sebastian Giovinco looks like the best player in the league right now. Even without his supporting cast, he's making things happen.

Columbus Crew 2 Montreal Impact 0 - I feel like Columbus should have a lot more wins than they do with the way they're playing.

Philadelphia Union 1 New York City FC 1 - Hard to feel good about either one of these squads right now.

Chicago Fire 1 Orlando City SC 1 - Kaka has his side playing better, but they're still inconsistent.

Seattle Sounders 1 Sporting Kansas City 1 - If you only get to watch one game this weekend, this is the one you should watch.

Portland Timbers 1 New England Revolution 1 - The Revs will be without Jermaine Jones and Juan Agudelo this week. They have plenty of depth, but Lee Nguyen needs to play better.

LA Galaxy 1 Vancouver Whitecaps 0 - The Galaxy just keep finding a way. I guess that's what championship caliber teams do.

Sunday

Colorado Rapids 1 Real Salt Lake 1 - Two teams going the wrong direction. Can both teams lose?

San Jose Earthquakes 3 FC Dallas 2 - Somebody other than Wondo needs to start scoring for San Jose.

Week 13: 4-9 (Seattle, LA, Sporting KC, Vancouver)

Overall: 35-74 (Things were looking pretty good until going 1 for 9 this weekend)
