MLS Homegrowns Draw with Club América's U-20s 1-1, Lose in Shootout

San Jose's Tommy Thompson scored the opening goal as MLS's Homegrown Team played Club América's U-20s to a 1-1 draw in the Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game before falling 5-4 in a six round shootout. 19 year-old Houston midfielder Memo Rodriguez assisted on the Thompson goal.
