Weekly Recap, Week 32

An early red card for Ambroise Oyongo spelled doom for the Impact as they fell to the New York Red Bulls, 2-1. Didier Drogba scored his 8th goal of the season, but couldn't overcome the 2-goal hole they put themselves in after the opening half. Lloyd Sam scored his 10th goal of the season for the Red Bulls... David Ousted recorded his 12th shutout of the season, and 29th of his career, as the Whitecaps clinched a playoff berth following their 0-0 draw with FC Dallas. For 20 year-old Dallas keeper Jesse Gonzalez, the shutout was his third in eight career starts. Gonzalez has conceded just nine goals since taking over as Dallas's starting keeper... Didier Drogba scored the only goal of the match as the Impact rebounded from their midweek loss to knock off the Rapids, 1-0. Zac MacMath made his 2015 regular season debut in net for the Rapids and made a pair of saves in defeat. The Impact, while winning the match, saw midfielder Andrés Romero leave the match early with a knee injury.
